BMW Refuses To Give M3 To Winner Of eBay Auction

The BMW location in Lincoln, Nebraska decided to boost their sales by putting one of their brand new M3’s up for auction on eBay. The listed price was $60,000 – which was pretty good for a BMW. Mr. Dooma350 was the lucky winner of the M3 and was able to get it for the listed price. The BMW dealership was hoping that the price would go up a considerable amount to help them make more of a profit – but it didn’t seem to work like that.

BMW Thinking About Addind Electric Cars In 2012

In 2012 BMW will be labeled as one of the larger vehicle manufacturers in the U.S. due to their growth in sales and popularity. They have proved to consumers that they can produce exactly what they want in a car.

Because of this great honor the folks at BMW are now in talks amongst themselves to decide whether or not they will produce what they call “an ecologically compatible car for the U.S. market”. They are trying to prepare for the newer and stricter CAFÉ standards that will be in full force in a couple of years.

BMW Works To Expand On Spartanburg Plant

BMW is making plans to expand the Spartanburg assembly plant - the only one that is located in the U.S. It seems that the plant (in South Carolina) has been increasing the workload capacity that they were built for due to increase in sales. Last year alone they produced 154,999 cars. The plant only allows for them to produce a maximum amount of 140,000 cars.
